Jimi (drums) and Steve (keys) are friends who also are musicians. They wanted to start their own band, as they've played together many times in other people's bands. The Idea of a "jam band" sounded like fun. Steve knew an awesome bass player (who had played with him in the Mourning Wood band), and Jimi knew a wicked guitarist (who had recently joined The Dancing Dogs band with him), and thus with Pete and Felix, respectively, THUNK was hatched. Their immediate chemistry, both musically and personally is evident. Within, one can expect to experience music performed by seasoned professionals who offer an extensive musical menu for both the simple and epicurian appetite. Envision a southern rock jam band, a la Little Feat, Gov't Mule, Allman Bros. and the Dead, with a little progressive Yes, Jeff Beck, and Gong thrown in, tweeked with some contemporary and vintage funk - and that's what we're THUNKing! Weaving improvisation with three-part harmonies and funky dance grooves over originals and covers, THUNK will focus and rage on!

Attention all THUNKERS and THUNKETTES and GLOWSTERS and GLOW GIRLS: THUNK will be headlining this years' GLOW ROUND to take place on AUG 11 at the Cherry Hill and Black Falls disc golf courses in Montgomery, VT! This is

beautiful country, over the Jay Peak pass and almost in Canada. There is a daytime tournament Sat and Sun the 11th and 12th called "Run For the Border". There will be competitive and casual GLOW GOLF all night on Sat the 11th.

Participation in any competitive disc golf is not required! There is camping Fri through Sun, and live music, kegs and BBQ Sat night. It is a family and dog friendly event and one price gets you in for the weekend for as much or as little

participation as you can or care to handle!

THUNKS to our friend Chuck who posted a nice vid clip on you tube from our show at the New Wave. The clip is a snippet from the song Blue Wind by Jeff Beck. It is listed as Thunk. To see it, please go to the following address:

As a result of this, it has come to our attention that there are other things on you tube with the name Thunk. I particularly recommend the one entitled "Thunk Leaves Home". It's a moving 15 minute computer animation short story of a pathetic ogre named Thunk that will touch you alternately with it's hilarity and it's banality!
